Evergreen Street Residence : Renovation

Located on an oversized lot in the heart of Wicker Park’s historic district, this home won the 2005 Landmarks Preservation Excellence Award for its outstanding renovation. It is our tribute to the prairie school style. Paying attention to light and the orientation of the space, we were successful in turning this neglected house into a real gem. Leaving only the exterior brick walls, we converted this two unit Building into a single-family home.

This property features custom-designed quarter sawn oak kitchen cabinets and bath vanities; Viking and Sub Zero appliances, Ann Sacks tile, Baldwin hardware, Toto, Dorn Bract, and Hans Growe bath fixtures, as well as a custom designed two-sided fireplace on the main level.
