Cullom Avenue Residence : Renovation

The amazing block in north center where this project is located has a truly suburban feel.

It was fun each day to see families gathering out front, kids playing and everyone just enjoying each other’s company. With this neighborhood feel in mind the homeowner’s goal was to both enhance their existing home and also have a sanctuary for the kiddos to gather and play. After purchasing the lot next door and tearing down the existing home we developed a 2 story mud room addition on their home which incorporated a new entrance from the yard, and one from the garage - re working the kitchen, family room , Primary bedroom and basement as part of the plans .Since it is now a double lot we made use of the abundant green space creating a seating area, outdoor kitchen , vegetable garden and of course an exceptional 2 story playhouse for the kids (that mimics the main house) What a wonderful privilege to be a part of this families next chapter of their lives

To note- With careful planning the family was able to live in the house during the course of construction.
